Dear Thunder Valley Families,
It was wonderful having all of our students back in the building after winter break. We have hit the ground running and have dived fully back into the learning.
On Monday, January 12th, there is a Girls Basketball away game at Trail Ridge Middle School. We are hosting our 8th – 9th Grade Transition Night on Thursday, the 15th at 6:00 pm. Guardians and 8th grade students, please join us for information about the transition to high school and success tips.
Our AAA after school academic support program for elementary students starts back up on Tuesday, January 13th. This is by invitation only, if your student is registered we look forward to seeing them. Our middle school academic program, STEM Explorers, starts January 13th as well. It runs Tuesday through Thursday until 5:00pm. Please email Mr. Elwood at elwood_grant@svvsd.org for registration and transportation information.
Winter weather is here! Please also remind your students to make sure to continue to dress in layers as we are now experiencing much cooler weather. Thank you for your continued partnership in making our school a special place to learn and grow. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need any support.
Best wishes,
Catrina Estrada, Principal
Sandra Vazquez, Assistant Principal
Matt Romig, Assistant Principal
