Happy Friday Raptor Families,

What a great week. Our students did a great job on their final section of iReady testing. Thank you for encouraging them to do their best and show their growth! The school year is flying by. Next week is Spirit Week! Make sure to see the information below. Please continue to encourage your students to stay engaged and finish strong as we head into the last few weeks of the school year.

This coming week we have a 1st-Grade Concert on Tuesday, May 13th, in the auditorium at 6:00 pm. On Wednesday, May 14th, we have a Middle School Choir Concert in the auditorium. On Friday, May 17th, we have the 7th and 8th grade dance from 4:45 – 6:15 pm.

Looking ahead to the following week, we have an all school picnic on the last day of school, Thursday, May 22nd. Parents are invited and welcome to join us. There will be sign-in sheets as you enter the fields. If your student is leaving with you at the end of the picnic, please make sure to sign them out with their teacher.

We appreciate your support and continued involvement in our school community. Please let us know if you need any assistance.

Help Our STEM Classroom!

Our STEM class is gearing up for exciting hands-on projects, and we need your help! We’re looking for donations of various materials that students can use to build, create, and experiment. Some of the items we could use include:

– Cereal boxes
– Paper towel and toilet paper rolls
– Plastic cups and straws
– Toothpicks
– Craft sticks
– Egg cartons
– String, yarn, or rubber bands

These materials will help our students bring their designs to life as they learn about engineering, problem-solving, and creativity. If you have any of these items, please send them in with your child or drop them off at the office.

Thank you for supporting innovation and creativity in our classroom!
