Dear Raptor Families,
It was wonderful to connect with so many of you at Parent Teacher Conferences this week. As a reminder, there is no school Friday, October 11th, and Monday October, 14th. AAA and Stem Accelerator start back next week.
Next week, on Tuesday, October 15th, we have a home soccer game versus Longs Peak MS. On Wednesday, October 16th, the Boy’s Basketball Team has an away game at Mead Middle School.

Screening Day
There will be a vision and hearing screening at your school on October 17th and October 18th. Your child(ren) may be on the list to be screened. Please encourage them to wear their glasses to school on this day. If the screening indicates your student needs further evaluation, you will be notified by mail. Please consult your school’s health clerk if you have questions or concerns. Click HERE for further information about the Colorado Department of Education’s guidelines for vision screenings.

Parents/guardians shall be required to furnish an explanation for student absenteeism either in writing or orally. Absences not explained within two days after returning to school shall be recorded as unexcused absences unless unusual or extenuating circumstances exist as determined by the building administrator. After 10 excused or unexcused absences, a doctors note is required. Communication is key to successful attendance.
