Dear Thunder Valley Families,

Our students are in the midst of CMAS and are doing awesome. We are so proud of how hard they have worked to show their learning and growth during testing. Thank you for supporting your student by helping them come to school with a good night’s sleep so that they are fully rested and prepared for the day.

The district art show is next week. Make sure to see the information below and support our amazing students!

Needoh’s and squishy are an increasing issue at school. They are not allowed at school. Please help us out and make sure students are keeping those at home. We are not responsible for any loss or stolen toys/fidgets. Classroom teachers have fidgets available in their classroom and support students who have documents plans for support.  We appreciate your partnership to limit disruptions during class time.

On Monday, April 13th, there is a track meet at Twin Peaks. On Monday, April 13th, there is an away soccer game at Timberline PK8. On Thursday, April 16th, there is a TVK8 Talent Show in the auditorium at 6:00pm. On Friday, April 17th, there is the 6th grade track meet at Mead High School. We are so proud of our athletes and the growth they are showing this year!

We appreciate your support and continued involvement in our school community. Please let us know if you need any assistance.

Best wishes,

Catrina Estrada, Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As the school year is coming to an end, this is a friendly reminder to please pick up any medications your student has in the health office on or before the last day of school. Which is May 21st.

Any medications not collected by that time will be safely discarded.

Please note that even if your student will be participating in summer programming, all medications must still be signed out on or before the last day of school. If needed, medications can then be re-submitted to the summer health office staff.

Thank you for your help with this! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the health office.

Sincerely,
Health Office Staff
Roxana, Cecilia, and Emily

ParentSquare: Our New District Communication Tool

St. Vrain Valley Schools will begin using ParentSquare, a new district communication tool that allows families to receive notifications based on their preferences. St. Vrain’s communications team will pilot ParentSquare for the remainder of the school year with the plan to expand access to schools at the start of the 2026-27 school year. We’re excited about the opportunities ParentSquare offers to streamline communication and will be working towards consolidating several of the tools families currently use into one convenient platform.

After spring break, parents and guardians will receive an email invitation to activate their ParentSquare account. This will allow families to download the mobile app, set language preferences, and choose how and when they receive notifications.

Visit the district website to learn more about ParentSquare.
