Dear Thunder Valley Families,
It was so wonderful to connect with students and families during parent teacher conferences this past week. Those conversations are incredibly valuable as we team together to support students. As a reminder, we do not have school Friday, February 13th and Monday, February 16th. Enjoy the long weekend!
Next week we have an orchestra concert on Wednesday, February 18th, in the auditorium. There is a band concert on Thursday, February 19th, in the auditorium. See below for more timing information.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our students safe during busy arrival times. We need your help with drop-off locations in the morning. We have noticed an increase in older students being dropped off in the front lot, which is reserved for Kindergarten students only. Drop-off begins at 8:20 a.m. All 1st–8th-grade students should be dropped off using the west side parking lot. If you are dropping off your child, we appreciate your support in ensuring they go directly to their line-up area. Please see the pick-up and drop off map below.
We appreciate your support and involvement in our school community. Please let us know if you need any assistance.
Best wishes,
Catrina Estrada, Principal
Sandra Vazquez, Assistant Principal
Matt Romig, Assistant Principal
Grant Elwood, Dean of Students
