December seems to just fly by. Please take a moment to complete our midyear Capturing Kids’ Hearts family survey. Your feedback helps us understand what’s working well and how we can keep improving.
On Monday, December 15th, we have a middle school girls basketball game at home versus Firestone Charter after school. Also on Monday, our Soaring Singings concert is at 6:00pm in the auditorium. On Tuesday, December 16th, there is a middle school choir concert at 6:00pm in the auditorium.

Attention students in grades 4-8
If you are interested in being part of this year’s production of “The Little Mermaid Jr”, please scan this QR code to reserve your spot at auditions. There are 2 MANDATORY audition sessions for all actors Tuesday Dec 16, 3:35- 5pm and Thursday Dec 18, 3:35-5:30pm. Parts will be posted after school Friday Dec 19 outside the auditorium.

Middle schoolers interested in lights, sound, microphones, spotlights, and backstage crew for “The Little Mermaid Jr” are to scan this code and let us know your interest. We will be connecting with these applicants in January with next steps. You are not required at the December auditions.





The health office is seeking pants size 7t-10/12. We can accept any gently used and clean clothes. Thank you so much for your support!

Parents/guardians shall be required to furnish an explanation for student absenteeism either in writing or orally. Absences not explained within two days after returning to school shall be recorded as unexcused absences unless unusual or extenuating circumstances exist as determined by the building administrator. After 10 excused or unexcused absences, a doctors note is required. Communication is key to successful attendance.
