Last week our students did a great job on their winter iReady testing. Thank you for encouraging them to do their best and show their growth so far this school year.
We have a lot of upcoming events this next week. We are excited for you to join us in supporting our young performers and athletes this week. On Monday, December 9th, our Girls Basketball team has an away Game at Sunset Middle School. Also on Monday, December 9th, our elementary Soaring Singers have their concert in the auditorium at 6:00PM. On Tuesday, December 10th, our 8th Grade Band students have a combined concert at Frederick High School. On Wednesday, December 11th, there is a middle school Choir Concert in the auditorium at 6:00 pm.

In preparation for ACCESS testing (the English language test) we will be pulling students from specials to practice a few weeks before the test. This will start on January 7th. The ACCESS test itself will begin on January 14th. If you have any questions, please contact Angela Moreno or Olga Rojas-Rodriguez. Thank you! Parents/guardians shall be required to furnish an explanation for student absenteeism either in writing or orally. Absences not explained within two days after returning to school shall be recorded as unexcused absences unless unusual or extenuating circumstances exist as determined by the building administrator. After 10 excused or unexcused absences, a doctors note is required. Communication is key to successful attendance. St. Vrain Preschool Expands to Five-Day-A-Week Programs
Starting in the 2025-2026 school year, St. Vrain Valley Schools will offer five-day-a-week preschool programs. Families can explore a variety of high-quality preschool options tailored to meet families’ unique needs, including half-day morning and afternoon sessions, with full-day programs available at select locations. Registration for the upcoming school year begins on December 17.
