Halloween Information
Students are invited to wear their costumes to school on Thursday, October 31st. Our Halloween Parade will be held from 9:30-10:00. All parents are welcome to attend our Halloween Parade. The parade will be held outside on our track (weather permitting). Teachers will communicate specific details that pertain to each grade level and a sign up if they need help with snacks. Teachers will be planning fun activities. If you do not want your child to participate in these activities, please notify your child’s teachers. We kindly ask that you do not send other snacks/treats that are not on the teacher sign up. Students will be allowed to wear costumes as long as they meet the following requirements:
- All costumes must follow the Thunder Valley dress code outlined in the Parent Handbook
- Students cannot wear masks, face paint or anything that covers their face
- No gore, blood or weapons are allowed
- No costumes that will distract form the learning environment (i.e. sounds, special effects, anything battery operated)
- Students must be able to continue to participate in learning activities in their costumes.
We appreciate your cooperation and know that Halloween is a fun day for the students. We aim to keep a positive and safe environment here at Thunder Valley.
