Dear Thunder Valley Families,
It was so good to have our students back in the building after the Thanksgiving break. We are fully into winter weather. Please support your student by having them dress in layers. We do go outside everyday, weather permitting. Please do not allow your student to bring blankets to school as they are disruptive and do not replace outerwear.
This week our students started iReady testing. We will continue testing next week on Tuesday. This midyear diagnostic test helps us gauge where students are at academically and better target their learning needs. Thank you for encouraging your student to take it seriously and supporting them in getting a good rest beforehand.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off Reminders: Thank you for helping us keep students safe during busy times. To minimize impact on our neighbors, please avoid using The Spark! parking lot. If you’re dropping off, we appreciate your support in guiding your student to their line-up spot.
On Monday, December 8th, we have a Girls Basketball game at home versus Twin Peak after school. On Wednesday, December 10th, our 3rd grade students have their music concert at 6:00 pm.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us. We appreciate your continued support and involvement in our school community. Please let us know if you need any assistance.
Best wishes,
Catrina Estrada, Principal
Sandra Vazquez, Assistant Principal
Matt Romig, Assistant Principal
Grant Elwood, Dean of Students
