Dear Thunder Valley Families,

These short weeks just seem to fly by, and next week is packed with great activities!

  • Monday, October 20: Middle School Boys Basketball — Home game vs. Firestone Charter Academy
  • Tuesday, October 21:
    • 5th Grade Music Concert at 5:45 PM
    • Open House for incoming students at 6:00 PM — a perfect chance for future Kindergarteners and rising 6th graders to meet teachers and explore all the opportunities our school offers!
  • Friday, October 24: MS Honor Roll breakfast – 8:00am – 8:30am. Individual invites to come for students with a 3.5 GPA or higher.

Halloween is right around the corner! We’ll share more details soon about our annual costume parade. As you help your student choose a costume, please remember that safety comes first. Costumes should be school-appropriate and non-distracting. Students must be easily recognizable, so no masks, face paint, sunglasses, fake blood, or full-face coverings. Weapons or look-alikes are not allowed.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. As always, please reach out if there’s anything we can do to help!

Best wishes,

Catrina Estrada, Principal

Sandra Vazquez, Assistant Principal

Matt Romig, Assistant Principal

Grant Elwood, Dean of Students
