
Dear Raptor Families,
Thanksgiving break starts this week. We hope you take this time to connect with family and friends to celebrate this season of gratitude. We have no school next week; classes resume on Monday, December 2nd.
As a reminder, the first Wednesday we come back from break, December 4th, is our first PLC/Late Start. School starts at 11:05 am, with dropoff beginning at 10:50 am. We also have a Girls Basketball game at home versus Trail Ridge MS on Wednesday, December 4th, after school.
Enjoy the break, and we look forward to seeing you soon! We appreciate your continued support and involvement in our school community. Please let us know if you need any assistance.

Parents/guardians shall be required to furnish an explanation for student absenteeism either in writing or orally. Absences not explained within two days after returning to school shall be recorded as unexcused absences unless unusual or extenuating circumstances exist as determined by the building administrator. After 10 excused or unexcused absences, a doctors note is required. Communication is key to successful attendance. Celebrate your child’s FIRST QUARTER birthday by joining the Birthday Book Club and donating a book to the school library in their name! Each child who participates will have their name inscribed on a bookplate on the front endpaper of the donated book. We will take a picture of the birthday child holding their donated book and they will get the first chance to check it out.
Here are two ways to participate:
1) Bring cash or a check in to the school and we will
purchase and process the book in your child’s name.
2) Select one of the books from our carefully chosen Wish List by visiting

St. Vrain Preschool Expands to Five-Day-A-Week Programs
Starting in the 2025-2026 school year, St. Vrain Valley Schools will offer five-day-a-week preschool programs. Families can explore a variety of high-quality preschool options tailored to meet families’ unique needs, including half-day morning and afternoon sessions, with full-day programs available at select locations. Registration for the upcoming school year begins on December 17.
