Dear Raptor Families, 

We hope you enjoyed your summer break! We are excited about the upcoming year! Please make sure to read the newsletter in its entirety as you prepare for your new year at Thunder Valley K-8. We would strongly encourage you to obtain iPad insurance.

There is always a lot of information at the start of the school year, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call. Our office is currently open from 8:00 am -4:00 pm. Our school hours are 8:35 am – 3:35 pm. Students can be dropped off starting at 8:20 am.

• August 12th- Supply Drop Off for 1st-5th grade 2:30 – 3:30pm

TVK8 Morning Line Up 2024-2025

Please have elementary students line up by class outside the designated area for your grade level in the morning. We will have cones with the teacher’s names to help.

Kindergartners will be dropped off at the front of the school and enter the building for breakfast at 8:20 am…all other grades need to be dropped off on the west side of the building.

Students can start arriving at 8:20am…no supervision is available until 8:20am.

Please do not have students play on the equipment before school, they need to be in their designated areas and starting to line-up.

Please read these important details regarding an iPad refresh!

All Thunder Valley students will be receiving a new iPad for the 24-25 school year! In order to help this transition go smoothly, we are asking students to back up their devices prior to receiving their new iPads. 

Below are instructions on how to backup files and other documents students want to save.

With new iPads, insurance is vital to keep the devices safe and prevent costly fees in the event anything happens to the device. Insurance can be purchased on Infinite Campus or through the front office. Insurance costs only $25!! Don’t get stuck with a huge fee.
